Its going to be Idina vs Shoshana for HISTORY.. because Shoshana replaced her in Wicked and literally STORMED THRU her TONY PERFORMANCE within a week and had everyone buzzing that she was better than this tony winner...

Shoshana has the larger range than Idina and she can do more with her voice, but it's too heavy for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I LOOOVE listening to Sho sing, but I can only take so much of it. I always feel like I need to take ten minute intervals to give myself a break in between. It's just...too overwhelming.

With Idina, I can listen to her all day and not be overwhelmed by her voice because it's not as heavily done. My personal opinion. =)

wow. so did not like that. why do singers feel the need that have to "mariah carey" every song for it to be well recieved. "the higher the note, the better they'll like me". what happened to singers actually singing songs with feeling?

It's really a matter of taste/personal preference. I like Shoshana a lot. She's great. But I prefer Idina's voice.
