Wow.Your just full of clueless information aren't you? Both auto and manual ratios are very similar on the 05+ GTs. The damn thing went 13.4 with only a modest 101 trap speed..The manual would need at least a 105 trap to net the same time with everything else being equal.Guess that throws your ''suck cause of gear ratio'' crap out the window huh? Jesus do some research next time....

@formula347 what rpm was it shiftin at do you know? because im completely stuck on whether to go for slp loudmouths or pype bombs (pype bombs are cheaper so i could probably also get headers or better h-pipe with the 100+ left over)...any info will be greatly appreciated!

68965- you make it sound like there is a big difference between the two.. The autos are potent in the 05+ GT's. For the record, you probably have no idea BUT
05/06 Auto = 3.31s
05/06 Manual = 3.55s
07+ 3.55 was an option, but ALL AUTO AND MANUAL WAS 3.31s..
Same with 2010, but now 3.73s an option..

SLP Loudmouths make our Stangs sound like garbage trucks. As I said before, they sound gravely, and there is no good tone.

Well im on 4l60e number 6 if that tells ya anything.
And ive had them 'Built" by two different local tranny guys.Waste of money.
Luckly this stock I have now seems to be holding up the best.But it wont be long cause of the LQ9 6.0 swap.And when it does POP I have a PTC rmvb th350/ss3600 combo ready to put in it.

Not getting too serious with the car as its my girlfriends daily driver(I have an LS1 formy).So far it has the SLP loudmouth,JLT intake/SCT custom tune combo,and Eibach pro kit.Went from 13.9/97 stock to 13.4/101 with those few mods.Good enough for her.And from what ive been told the auto is actually stronger than the manual.Unlike the crappy 4l60e that came in my bird.lol.
