God Bless America Trilogy | Pop Rock Style

There is a small portion of "God Bless America" at the end of these.
I didn't know what else to call this arrangement since it had three songs.

I used EZdrummer software for my drums, and of course I used the Pop/Rock style of drums (all I have anyway). I used Reaper to record everything, including piecing together the drum rhythms.

I used my Ibanez RG 350 DX for the guitar solo, and it was also used in the rhythm guitars. It was tuned to Drop Eb. My Jackson SLSMG was another guitar used for rhythm. It was tuned to Drop A, not revealed until the chorus of "America, the Beautiful." My Jackson was also used as my would-be bass. haha. Still don't have a bass, but it works for now; especially now that it's downtuned so low.

The two cameras I used were a Fujifilm A220 and an Olympus Stylus Tough 6000. I wish I could say this was one live take....it almost was. (I guess the wristband makes it obvious) The only part that is a different take is when I start playing that portion of "God Bless America." I started playing the wrong string, and the previous songs were played so well that I didn't want to redo it once again. I had so many takes before I went with this not-so-flawless take. ;)

My Mom got me this shirt for this video. I started to wear the same one as last year, but she offered to get me a new one. I said, "Sure, I won't object." =D

My wristband says "RED" on one side, and "UNTIL WE HAVE FACES" on the other side. It looks kinda cheapy, but it works. I customized it at www.sayitbands.com. They were the cheapest I could find without a minimum. I hope my favorite band, Red, comes back with their own wristband so I can buy one.
