How was fay? I had to go through Ike. Windy, very windy.

I worked this storm as an insurance adjuster. This was a horrible storm I had ac claim with a General that was in charge of a naval base there he said that thier wind meter broke at 225 mph that is some amazinge winds. I really felt for the people in those areas that was affected by this storm.

@RobertMOdell correct, sir. ive witnessed surge here where i live, in galveston texas. in hurricane ike i had 6 feet of water in my yard, and it was moving from the bay to the beach, just like a river. there werent any large waves, the water was flattened by the wind. the current was tremendously fast. our brick was pushed off the house by water, and a toyota 4 runner was floated through the ceiling of the garage, to rest on the 2nd floor. storm surge is no joke!

This is not a storm surge. It is called high surf. A surge is an incoming movement of water that persists, not huge waves in the water.

you took what i said out on context. i was getting on to you about that comment you made about the viedo. oh lets juist forget this. this is a waste of time you know we are both southern gentlemen we both live in florida we got are state to rebuild after this storm. what do you say truce.
