  • I have a 03 tacoma with 3 inchs lift but sometimes it feels like I'm riding on a mule,I dont' feel safe while off roading, and i would like to replace that lift for a set of king coilover shocks in front and a set of 5100 bilstein for the rear, i just want to improve the ride and make it smoother, what would be your opinion about it, any advice from you guys will be more than welcome,Thank you.

  • @MCK0405 Going to a higher quality shock will always make the vehicle feel more stable. Also, you can run a bigger body shock and it will run cooler so it won't fade or stiffen up. What kit are you running on the vehicle today?

  • Hey, I have a 5 lug, 2wd 4door, 2011 taco, and I want to do something similar to what you have done here. Is it possible to get this much lift on it? and should I stick with the 5 lugs, or find a way to convert it to 6 lugs.?

  • @ZackAlsoKnownAsIce You would have to do a body and lift combination to get near that much lift. It won't be quite as tall but probably close.

  • how much it cost this all?

  • @mastazeuj The best thing would be to contact your local store and get a quote for your specific vehicle.

  • notice he said "now you can stad out in a MALL parking lot" lol

  • You cut the bolt way too close. You need to leave like 5 mm. It's probably over engineered, but you are compromising bolt integrity.

sweet step by step video though. Cool look. I wish I had a v6 so I could do 33's or +. Would hate to re-gear cause I'm poor.

  • did i just see sparks flying towards the gas tank?? yikes...

  • How much did it cost to get all of these accessories and installed. Because I'm going to do this when I'm 16.

  • Thats not murdered out...the grille is still a huge chrome clump of shit

  • its nice but you sould of painted under the grill you put on black it would of looke better

  • Thank you for answering, what i have now is a cheap set of kng or kgn (the are color gray), i bought my truck from the dealer nearly 3 years ago (used) and ever since i have been doing some improvements to it ,it was already lifted but the ride was sooo crapy and i paid for a new set of shocks because the ones that had before were worn out,I think they know so much about it as i know about nuclear engineering, not satisfied with that job,you guys did and excellent job in that video,Thanks again!
