Saturday 15 October 2011 at Circular Quay. Started out a dreary overcast day but eventually the sun won out.

  • Great Video, any idea what GTV means at 0:20?

  • Thanks for your comment. The only thing I came up with via Google is Gas Turbine Vessel.

  • @TheWizardofAUz In your experience which ship is bigger? Diamond Princess or Radiance of the seas?

  • I'd say the Diamond Princess. Just. More tonnage, a little bit longer and carries more passengers and crew. But I'm no expert.

  • @bjs5kids Are you leaving the 3rd of January!!!?!

  • @TheWizardofAUz No, you are wrong.. Radiance of the seas, Is bigger! I work for Royal Carribean, As a sales Manager in America, I have work'ed on this cruise! it was amazing.. But, I'm now currently on Oasis of the seas! But, I'm only 16. And i'll be going on this amazing cruise again! On the 3rd of January 2012 From Sydney, with my family.

  • Thanks heaps for posting this video. She looks fantastic. Can't wait to see her. She arrives in Fremantle this coming Monday and we are going to Fremantle to check her out... Only 21 weeks today until we board her in Sydney for 12nights cruising the Pacific Islands..

  • Ordinary morning, but the weather picked up and sailaway was sensational! Check out my vid for sailway :) PS: Thanks for posting. There's a heap of us going on the 2 nighter on 18 November :)

  • was thinking the same thing

  • @TheWizardofAUz I think you are right makes sense and that class is a Gas Turbine Class, but I wonder why they made it that big and not small

  • @deanhackett1 What? The company that built the Radiance-Class for Royal Caribbean International was Meyer Werft in Germany???
