To me, this episode should've been more intense. More emotional. I guess what Ricky's dad was telling him was that his dad

used to abuse him, only he left out the 'abuse' part of the conversation. That's why the dad got all choked up. I've grown to like these Mini-Episodes, though I remember seeing them only on MySpace a while back. And didn't Ricky Schroder die or something? Great acting. Was Silver Spoons on in the 80's?

I am about 5 years younger than Rick Schroeder, but had a HUGE crush on him when this show was on the air. I actually sent him a love letter with sticks of wrapped bubblegum in the envelope because I had read somewhere (who knows if it was even true) that he really loved gum. What a little fool I was back then. Nice to see these posted; great memories!

Wow! I know this show is old. But I use to have the biggest crush on Jason Bateman and Ricky S. well when Ricky was a teenage. They both are such cuties. I use love watching Sliver Spoons all the time growing up as a little kid. Wow these boys must be like in their late thirties or forties age now. And I'm 19 years old. lol..

I love Jason Bateman jerk funny character. He use to make me so mad as kid but at the same time falling for him more. Lol...
