We could not have remained silent;

In front of the statement of the Community of Religious Iranians in Rome that called out for a demonstration in front of the Iranian embassy in Via Nomentana to support Ahmadinejad, against the green movement of Iran, we could not have remained silent.

We couldnt have remained silent because we feel duty bound to defend our country , the genuine and natural will of thousands of citizens, young and old, who struggle for their democratic rights and for the freedom of Iran.

They have called us terrorists, they have written that by demonstrating our opinion we have hurt the praying believers, burnt sacred portraits and assaulted police officers. They say we are servants of The United States and Israel, that we are paid for subjugating our country to Anglo-American and Zionist power. These are all LIES: in Iran it is the government that kills people to suppress the movement, not the opposite; In Iran it is government that relies on foreigner forces, not the opposite. All the technology that the police uses to suppress the protests in the streets, is sold to Iran by the West, while the only arm the protesters obtain is their peaceful demonstration. The Green Movement is independent and pacific, by nature and by choice.

We do respect the right of free demonstration, but we cannot tolerate false accusations.

We could not have remained silent in front of all these lies, and that is why we have performed a symbolic blitz during their demonstration. We have answered their infamy with our creativity by releasing green balloons covered with slogans about peace, freedom and democracy.

بی تفاوت بودن در برابر محتوای خبر دعوت به شرکت در تظاهرات طرفداران احمدی نژاد بر ضد جنبش سبز در مقابل سفارت ایران در رم، امکان پذیر نبود، چرا که ضرورت دفاع از ایران، و حرکت خودجوش جوانان و شهروندان کشورمان که در پی مطالبه ی آزادی و حقوق شهروندی خویش اند را، احساس می کردیم.
به دروغ، ما را "تروریست"، "ضد دین"، "اعتشاش گر" و "عامل صهیونیسم و آمریکا" نامیدند، درحالی که ، این بخشی از حکومت است که با استفاده از نیرو و سلاح خریداری شده از غرب و شرق استعمارگر، هموطنانمان رابه خاک و خون می کشد. معترضانی که با حرکتی خودجوش و بدون خشونت خواستهای خود را بیان می کردند.
ما به ابراز عقیده ی مخالف خود احترام می گذاریم، اما درمقابل چنین اتهاماتی هرگز سکوت نمی کنیم و در مقابل اینگونه تظاهرات های فرمایشی عکس العمل لازم را نشان داده و خواهیم داد. از این رو با حرکتی نمادین در حین تظاهراتشان، با پیام آزادی، دموکراسی و صلح به افترای آنان پاسخ دادیم.
