Filmed this using the VIO POV 1.5 action camera. Laid the whole device on the snow, without camouflaging it, and placed some slices of bread in front of the lens! A crow showed up, after 5 minutes, landing like 20 m from the camera, and then walking towards it, clearly sceptical. They're actually really smart! Some birds would just ignore the device and eat the bait! I live by the coast, far away from any large cities, so they tend to avoid human beings, if someone was wondering.

This is a subspecies (Corvus corone cornix) of the common black crow.
