Car amplifier engine noise

i have this problem ... when my amps hook't up the subs just pound to the car rev... but when the car is off i get no bass... at all / ps .. my * blazer came wires already .. and the rca cables are along side the power .. this is no good i take it .. ..

@darren107 could you please re-phrase your question in formal English, since I can't really understand what you want to say. Basically you hear the sound from the subwoofer whilst the engine is turned on, however you cannot hear it while your engine is turned off?

@darren107 either your amplifier is connected directly to generator instead of the car battery or your car battery is old and weak so that it cannot give enough power to your amplifier (especially if the amp needs LOTS of power). Either way, check all connections, wiring, and voltages of 12+, ground and remote cables.

does this happen when you run the RCA cables to close to the battery cable with a amp for ur subs or only for the amp that is powering your inside speakers??

@maumastoks kool thanks by the way thees an audio shop here and they sale these long black plastic things that you buy by the foot that wrap around the wires im guessing is to make the wiring look cleaner or something buy anyway do u think if i wrap the battery cable with that wrap it would take some noise off? or would that not make a difference??????

@MrLIFEISTOOSHORT plastic will do nothing. Plastic does not hold back electromagnetic noise. Only ferrite and ferromagnetics might hold back the jamming.

Hey bro I'm having this same problem I have a Memphis mc4.75 and it's fine when my car is turned off once I start it it makes all sorts of noises, I have a kinetik battery in the back and it's wired directly to the alternator you think that might have something to do with it?

@maumastoks hmm.... well it dont whistl i dont think subs do that :S ..they are 2 tens and they make bass .. when i hook up the amp to the bat. the subwooffers go in and out * makeing bass * and they go in and out to the rev of the car motor.. i watch my tak. and it seemd like they were the same .... even when my deck was turnd off.. the subs go on . its a 2001 blazer zr2 .. and it comes stock with boose my car speakers make the whistle noise . tho too..tomorrow i am going to rip it all
