Former IWBTG Impossible mode upper path record

At the time I posted this it was the longest run on Youtube, but it's since been beaten.

My control scheme is esdf, ' for jump, and ; for shoot.

For other people doing impossible runs: I've discovered how to avoid the bosses not appearing bug. When you go to the game select screen it takes a couple seconds for all the information for the three game saves to load. If you wait until that's done you should be able to always avoid the bug (or alternately always trigger it by starting before then, if that's what you want).

It's hard to see with youtube's video quality, but I'm shooting him in the eyes. That's also what makes him go from phase 2 to phase 3.

my guy wont double jump at the second cloud so... i cant beat the first level >:{

It sounds like you're either falling off the cloud before you jump or jumping before you actually land on it.

Don't worry about being all the way on the left edge of the cloud when you jump; if you do a full jump you shouldn't have much trouble making it to the third cloud (the one that goes up). By full jump I mean holding the jump button until you're ready to hit it again for the double jump, rather than letting go right after you hit the jump key.

Right back at ya! Once you've got him down Tyson almost never kills you, so it's a shame he didn't appear for you. I've figured out how to avoid that bug; I'll put it in the description.

Actually it is very possible. It has been done and it is on youtube, you'll find the whole entire run to prove there is no hacks. Just search it up on youtube you will find it.

I doubt it's possible to beat the whole game on Impossible. Even if you're a complete god at the game, it has to crash sometime, so it's impossible.
