Diego Grijalba plays Brad Mehldau´s Goodbye storyteller.
(I play my own Version. I think it´s imposible to recreate something like Brad plays)

  • Very impressive, although i would have prefered you to play ur own solo, which would have been (concerning your skill) for sure a really nice one. But I still like your version and if its just for you made me understand eventually the rythm grounding the phrase between 3:13-3:22 its not that impossible I believed it was, thanks to your performance. Thanks and keep up training an impressive hearing and rather use it for solowork, i would highly appreciate :)

  • Found this again. And again: what a beautiful interpretation this is! I agree with you that anything Brad does is of another planet, but your version also makes one stop and listen for the full 9 minutes. It's nice to see how the sunlight in the video somehow tries to influence the mood.

I've been trying to get hold of a transcription for some time now, but never found it. Like 'misteroo' I'd like to ask: any chance you publish a transcription?

  • Wonderful interpretation of one of Brad's masterpieces!

  • any chance you publish a transcription?

  • wow this is absolutely beautiful

be cautious of high energy spots causing you to rush

  • really well done. did you learn this by ear? do you happen to have a transcription for this song? I would love to have the music for it. you played it wonderfully.
