presidential and parliamentary votes are completely separate. you can vote for a presidential candidate and not bother with a parliamentary candidate or vice-versa.
But actually ODM won 99 seats. PNU affiliates won 78 seats. ODM-Kenya won 16, and there were 11 independents.
It is not out of any love for Kibaki, but put simply he got more votes than Raila. Therefore he is the winner. If Raila had won, also people would be saying that he stole. That is life upende usipende
