You Guys are all fucking Retarded!!! i grew up in the circus. why are you only showing the animals prior to going in for the show. you should be showing how they live after and before shows. stop being so fucking ignorant

@hasandoueik54 -I believe you grew up in the circus because your language and your attempt to pretend that the tigers are kept differently before and after the show reflects a circus mentality. You know full well this is how the tigers are kept their whole life. However, by attempting to persuade people that the tigers are kept differently before and after the show you are acknowledging that most people think keeping tigers in these conditions is cruel.

I am so glad you posted this, the Circus is coming to the town I am in, and Forever since I was a child I have found something very disturbing about circuses and Zoo's. That being said, and as sad as this is, imagine the psychological effects of confinement and deprivation a human being experiences being in similar conditions. In the United States we have the biggest incarcerated population in the world, we have the biggest Jails and Private Corporations running this so called reforming

Don't be naive. There is a lot of wild left and it needs to be protected. These tigers were not taken from the wild they were bred to be mistreated for Ringling's profits and that is a crime. Stop justifying cruelty. It is not rocket science - either you care or you don't. If you do you will help end this suffering if you don't you will make flippant insensitive comments.

@thyslop1 - That is the point. If you find this boring to watch for ten minutes then imagine how boring it is for the tiger to have to live their WHOLE LIFE like this. This is abuse by deprivation, which is not as exciting to watch as abuse by infliction (i.e., "elephants being whipped") but more abusive as it is constant.

@DanStummer all animals show very much want to please their masters , if you had been there during private after hours training sessions like I have for thousands of hours, you would know this. you can doubt all you want but this does not change the reality.yes captive animals do live longer, as wild animals don't recieve vet visits(tooth cleaning alone makes any animals including man live longer), or eat a proper diet 3 times a day.

@DanStummer the intent of animals in circuses was not profit. you need to follow the timeline and history of circuses to know this is plainly not true. the reason circus exist is circus entertainers are an extension of primitive entertainers and many circus family's go back thousands of years. it is merely to entertain their fellow man. you misunderstand profit, which is not what circus are formed for . profit is merely the universe rewarding someone for doing a good job.

While not flaunting this, I think that it shows, as well as my involvement in both animal aid and environmental organizations that I am doing something. A true activist doesn't complain that the river is dirty, they clean the river. So please expand on what you have done with your life to help...

@circusboy90210 I accept your notion that captive animals do create awareness for animals in the wild, but I don't think that is the intent of circuses. It is not true though that animals live 5 times longer. And I doubt that any of the big cats who are hard-wired to be top predators have any enjoyment from performing. Western society is based on making money, you can't afford to accept that humans are the worst thing to happen to the worlds biota
