Oh yeah, that's how I remember the news as a kid. I had the hots for Michelle Marsh. Roland looked better with a mustache actually. And the announcer voice, classic!

In fact, it was near the end of 1982 that Smith's moustache came off. This was in the spring.

Kind odd seeing Rolland mustachioed, since I remember watching him on Ch. 2 as a kid in the mid-80s, by which time he went clean-shaven.
