I ask because I've been considering a similar move: Combining a Paiste 2002 Medium Hi-Hat Top w/ a Paiste RUDE Hi-Hat Bottom.
Obviously, not for Jazz. Though, I do find the idea of this combination appealing.
Any thoughts?

I'm curious about your decision to replace the bottom on your Paiste Traditionals Hi-Hat w/ one from the Signature Medium Hats. What were you looking for that the original bottom wasn't giving you?
