This is a performance by Massive Attack of their hit single, "Unfinished Sympathy" on "Top Of The Pops" on 14-3-91. When this single was released, due to the on-going first Gulf War at the time, they shortened their name to Massive for a while. It reached No.13 in the UK charts & featured Shara Nelson on guest vocals. Apologies for the bad editing & poor quality in some places.

Me uncle Burt is playing double bass in this video. He was a caretaker/janitor at the BBC studio where they made Top of The Pops. They often used the canteen and general staff at the BBC when making the 'live' performances...He's very proud of this particular video and his performance but apologizes for 1.39 when me Ma distracted him and asked him how many sugars he wanted in his tea...as if she didn't know already, tsk!
