NEW WEBSITE !! miamiviceboat.com
This is the first Scarab used in the TV series "MIAMI VICE" seasons two and three. Used in :Out where the busses don't run, Payback and many others. This boat can be identified in the show by its lack of lights on the arch and no railings between the scoops on the engine hatch. This vidio was filmed off of Catawba Island (Lake Erie) on 8-31-08
Hope you like it !

  • Yes the boat is still for sale. Kinda the wrong venue for this type of machine. Have alot of interest in it from the event though.

  • @KNUCLESTICK Jim, did you have it here in WI?

  • Yes it was in WI last week but not in the water.

  • The boat has a Certificate of authentisity signed by the president of Wellcraft. It also has the dash plaque mounted by Universal Studios and It also has the original bill of sale stating its original shipment to Smith Marine. (outfitters of all MV boats)

Not to mention many Original mounting points for the cameras.

Thanks for the question. See the website for pictues and info. miamiviceboat . com

  • What verifiable documentation do you have to prove this is "the" boat?

  • Original build sheet to Smith marine. Original dash plaque from Universal studios, Certfiicate of Authentisity directly from Wellcraft. Original camera mount points.

  • thanks for actually using the boat!

  • @GSP228 There were several of these boats built for the show but not everyone of them had the full trim since some were just for stunts.

  • very nice, did I see this boat at Port Dover Ontario? Summer 2009?

  • Dear Santa...

  • It hasn't hit me yet that the boat in this video that I've been watching for the past month is now in my shop. Have to thank Jim for bringing down to NC for me. Need to get it in the water this weekend! It looks just as good in person as it does in the video. Don't think I'll be able to top this video though. It was nicely done.

  • Yeah,.. what did that boat go for,... also I've seen ol' Dj himself on the Barrett Jackson auctions.
