@thuey65 When I was on active duty with the Marines in the early 1980s, my squad would gather around our TV in the afternoons to watch the Justin Wilson show on summer afternoons when it was too hot to be outside. ( at camp Lejeune, that's about 2 days a week from June to Sept. I still use some of the recipes I first saw on that show. I used to have a couple of his comedy albums on CD, but lost them while moving a few years ago.

RIP the best cook in history.

should read his books. they're written in the cajun dialiect (complete with some bad grammar and misspelled/mispronounced words), so as you're reading, you hear him speaking the words in your head, with that wonderful accent. i was really young when i read the one book of his, but i remember it was hilarious.

'old master whiskey'
Man I remember that dude. His show was so funny especially when he would mix wine in his food and eat it at the end with a glass of wine! What I remember best was when he poured salt in his palm & to prove he knew his measurement would pour in a tablespoon & it would be that EXACT amount. An amazing guy. RIP...
