  • I wish I could find accompaniment msuic for this song or even a karaoke version.

    Got any suggestions?

  • Sorry no help for Karaoke. Just put the airphones on, close the door and sing to you hearts content.

  • COME ON NOW!!! This tune EMBARRASSES Baby Love.

  • This song is SO classic...but it needs to

be heard in STEREO...there's an echo and

presence that comes out that one can't

hear as well in mono sound...

Other singers doing this song? No way,not

for me! This is THE definitive version...

  • I just heard this today for the first time. It was played by Herb Kent on V103 in Chicago. It is definitely a catchy tune and her voice is very nice. It certainly caught my ear. I had never heard of her before (I'm 33) but I may look into more of her stuff. I first thought she was saying "how the hell I am" too! But that wouldn't really make sense for this time and type of song...

  • This my favorite song because my Aunt Anne used to play it all the time. I just love this song ...Love you forever Auntie, RIP...... Your favorite niece "Sugarmama"..

  • This is a REAL singer. and this is REAL music.

  • well one more

  • Sometimes she sings, "How the hell I am."

  • My Mom (RIP) played this cut non-stop!! Thank GOD for music......that way she will ALWAYS be with me!!

  • Ahh I see this song hit the shores of "Kiwiland"... what a gorgeous tune this was/ still is.... sure brings back sweet and bitter memos.... tks. alot for this great sound and share...5stars

  • Thank you still beautiful to listen to after all these years.

  • @sarahsings1 If you get a stereo version of this song AND if the vocal has been mixed to come out of dead center you can remove the vocal for the most part with the aid of a vocal eliminator which comes on many mixers. This recording has a lot of reverb which usually renders the vocal eliminator ineffective. I use this to remix recordings so I can play tenor sax on place of the vocalist or soloist. Results will vary. I suggest you talk to a tech at a music store on availability.
