  • its blurry i cant really see man..

  • Ya, crummy camera, crummy conversion.

  • If you make the 2 half's a little long you willnot need no tape and no leek. Here a hint take tomato juice can makes a good inter wall not cut to put together

  • If the pot gets slightly off-center and off-balance, the seam can open and leak. I prefer to tape them closed.

  • Pretty cool-- or should I say HOT!. I made an older version of this using a cotton cloth for wadding inside and pure Isopropyl alcohol (a drug store item). If I recall I did that because the fire was less likely to go all over if it tipped. That was back in the late 1950's with the old style soda or soup cans. Excellent video and thanks for posting it

  • The old style cans were probably thicker and more sturdy.

  • I only need a few minutes to boil water or cook soup.

  • Rubbing alcohol doesn't turn into only heat... there is a by-product of combustion.

  • Finally; someone who can explain WHY this stove is designed like this! Thank you! And I'm curious; how sooty do your pots get from using the isopropyl alcohol?

  • I have since heard about the tomato juice can.... I think I'll try it!
