An elegant pump for an elegant goal; pumping freshwater from a well. Waterlevels can be as low as 8 meters below ground level. Standard PVC parts and a very basic design make a handdriven membrane-pump. The discharge-head in our test is 8m. The pump works axially, with a stroke varying from approximately 10 to 50 centimeters.

  • Very nicely made. Cheap and efficient.

A counter balance needs to be attached to make it lighter to lift, and perhaps if you made the plunger tube long enough to reach the water level with the outlet valve on the bottom of it, it would prime much more easily, keeping the seal wet might also increase it's lifespan. dry seals chew out very quickly without water to lubricate them.

    Rated: 5 stars. Excellent.

  • what parts would I need to make one.

    Thanks
