Boeing satellite launch

from an email I received :
Friend of mine works with communications for Boeing and others.

They ordered a new satellite at a cost of around $400,000,000.
And a ton of money spent on apps etc to go around it:

They had a big party for the launch

My dad worked on this satellite, but wasn't on that launch thank goodness. What happened was that they found debris in the fuel lines, and it choked off the satellite. There was not enough power to launch it off of the pad. Funnily enough, it was a Russian problem, not Boeing's. :P

jesus lloyds insures satellites? how the fuck does an actuary asses that risk without a team of Phd's who know every detail?? also, is that an old oil platform or did they build that fucker?
