All I can say is this, Yakuza living to old age and dying of natural causes... Any other gang group dying before they even reach 25 some of them not even 18...

They have a better and more stable organization, less people trying to get to the top by killing off the man in front of them. In the US everyone wants to be boss, so that's why no one ever lives long enough because the guy at the bottom never wants to wait at the bottom, and wait for their turn.

@moshcosh It's like us saying wutup, peace, sup, laters, its not really a word they use just a different type of greeting for hi and bye like that guy said about military greetings, just a respect thing...
-
this man is saying "Ninkyo do" is nothing in real.they just justify killing or cheating by saying "Ninkyo do".

@junkies1111 its like, when the leader or the "oyabun" of the yakuza family dies, they move onto the next regime(generation). in this video they were talking about the 5th generation of the yamaguchi yakuza family.

Gansterism can be a useful tool for govt officials because they can exploit the system with their corrupt ways by panning off criminal and/or illegal acts behind closed doors without persecution. The Yakuza is protected and kept in existence by the very bureaucrats who fake their dismay, and align w/agencies like intelligence. The CIA, the Mossad, KGB, MI6; every secret service of the world, are the worst offenders of em' all, and they all rely on their criminal fronts.

@jhglobal1 No honor in that

Yakuza raped my wife in 1983. It hasn't been forgotten. It will be repaid in kind. For you idealistic gaijin out there...better wake up..and grow up.

Very interesting.

it's perplexing that yakuza and police are closely associated yet yakuza still get arrested and serve time, in spite of all their power somehow billboards condemning them exist in plain sight, gangsters in japan are all registered in a database, frequent criminal offenders get jailed and are freed, so many more mysteries
very strange indeed
Thank you very much for the upload, it was very interesting :)
What are the lower yakuza saying when the kumi-cho etc are leaving? It sounds like 'uss'? I'm sure it's some form of respect but what is it they're actually saying?

@moshcosh It's just like a all-around greeting, kind of like how people in the military salute their superiors.
