  • Even if this AC unit is working, I bet the energy efficiency is very low, probably 2-3 SEER, and that is a really loud machine. Also, is there a back cover, top cover, and fan grill, or are they gone?

  • @CaptainElevator42189 everything is there you can see when i lean out the windo0w it is kinda loud some well placed sheetmetal screws fixed most of it we were actually able to get it to work for this season

  • If you want to get it running let me know. I can probable talk you through it.

  • @MrHenrycu cool hen i bush wack my way to it ill let you know

  • Do you still want to get it running?

  • @MrHenrycu yes i do but havent had time or money.

  • Okay, I did see the side cover and top cover/fan grill, so I am wondering if you can make another video of it running and fully assembled with top/side/grill covers on.

  • @MrHenrycu

I've been looking for a gas a/c unit. Do you work on these units?

    I'm in Ca.

  • Servel was bought by Robur, an Italian company. They continue to make gas absorption chillers but they are now called Robur. I'm an electrician and I often have to connect and power up air conditioners but I have never encountered one of these in real life. Thanks for the video.

Hopefully you can get it running but if that doesn't work maybe you could try an electric chiller, like MultiAqua.

  • lol i love how you got startled when it turned on lol

  • It looked like the fan was running backwards (counter clockwise) in the video. This could happen on the older units if the fan was wired wrong. Also you should have the top panel on when operating. The condeser fan "pulls" the flame into the gernerator. By having the top panel off you're not getting proper air flow. There was a lot of yellow flame.
