okay...I was wrong and misread what it said....so Ignore my comment...it says a player can improvise in the same style and mode as what is written...I would still think the dynamics should be followed...but I guess making up notes is okay...but I really dont agree with that...despite the fact it says its okay...
So basically, it does say he can improvise...and I just didn't really like his interpretation of the music at the begining
It does say improvastion...but it says that the improvasition on the music is to make up the begining by not really playing...it doesnt say to make up ones
That's not even the correct begining and it starts at pppp..and it gradually bulids up. Thats not what you did. The phrasing you did after the incorrect begining I enjoyed a lot. I think that u are playing it really fast in some section..I didn't like the phrasing in the B F# A bass pattern..I liked it better when there wasnt 1 but I do lik the slowing at the end of it...you aded more stuff at the ending..I liked i overall..but I realyy didn't like the made up notes..becuz thats not on my music
Consider phrasings. There is a lot of repatition in this piece so it quikly gets boring if it is not played musically. Use your wrist to facilitate your strokes rather than arm. I wouldn't have played this on a fibreglass marimba.
besides all those missed notes some pretty decent work. but dude you got to chill out. this song is all about flow. slow it down some and feel it. youve done a good job, now just feel the music. it sounds too rudimentary for my taste.
Dynamics came back down after the intro, but listen to Keiko's recording -- there must be a build from soft and melodic line towards the next moving line section on the A's. Take more time with all of the linear melodies, not so strict to tempo.

Shouldn't look that way - the majority of HS's have low A's. A slim minority have 4.6s or 5s.
