A clip from Ormskirk Theatre Company's production of Paul Falcone's World War II Murdernight Death by Radio, performed at the United Reformed Church Blundellsands on 20 March 2009. In the middle of the blitz, Sydney Matthews' troupe are forced to abandon their usual studio at the BBC for a local church hall, in order to record the next episode of their long-running radio serial. To make things worse, the sound effects chappies haven't turned up and so two members of the studio audience are enlisted as last minute stand-ins.
