Spar: God made the 7th day Holy on creation, He rested on the Seventh day and Sanctified it. It is the same day as Jesus kept when He walked the earth. He was raised a jew and as such He kept the 7th day Holy as He Himself commanded so long ago. So thats why its the 7th day and not the first day. 7th day is Saturday, first day is sunday.
