What cassette adapter was that? I heard that some have awful sound quality, just wondering what price range should the adapters be to have pretty good sound.

yeah, its pretty long and this things are all over so you can buy one with a long cord... the quality is gonna depend on your cassette player because when the adaptor is new it works pretty well..
