This is something that I found pretty cool
if you don't like it then you do not have to watch

Over 100 New York state fire depts belong to an elite league since the 1930's, and race on summer weekends, to see who is the fastest. Instead of playing softball between fire calls, these guys restore antique fire trucks with drag racing motors.
@blueliner011 You're right, my bad.

@labsub Wrong.... That would be the Flying Dutchman from West Sayville, it says "Flying Dutchman" right over the rear wheel, further more the Forty Thieves are from Patchogue NY and have been suspended from racing for a few years due to rule violations, also..... Central Islip is home of the Hoboes drill team.
having said that, nice try........

That's the Forty Thieves Drill team, out of Central Islip New York. The best!

For generations, volunteer firefighters from all over NY state, have raced with ladders and hoses in at least 8 different contests. For each contest, only the top 5 fastest times measured to the hundredth of a second, win points and trophies.
Season stats, standings, schedules, and recorded on-line radio programs can be found at NYSDRILLTEAMS. Photos and news can be found at DIGGER74 (Google it).
