Logo animation Zen Images! Like it? We where 2 artists on the job for 1 weeks work. We created the creature in XSI and animated everything else in after effects with the trapcode particle plugin. We tried doing the particles in XSI but it was to heavy to render so we had no other choice but to switch to another solution... Cool, don't you think?

  • i really like it. i been trying to figure out for a long time how to do a cloud fly by that good. but no luck

  • @TranceEnergy The trick is to emit (with a particle emitter) lots of 2D cloud images that you have cut out in little pieces of clouds. The images that you have cut out should blend softly so that you do not see the square edges of the image. Using the particle emitter, shoot lots of particles using a random cloud image that you have cut out to use as a particle. The tool I have used is Trapcode Particular, it is very fast to render and very powerfull!

  • @ZenImages thanks for your reply. could you possibly guide me to what values would work best with trapcode for the cloud by any chance? and last and least where the black trees models or images? My guess would be a model like the bird but i could be wrong.

  • @TranceEnergy I did try to build the clouds in Maya (fluid dynamics) at the time, render times where of the limits! Value wise...there is a built in particle named cloudlet, playing around with multiple variations of scaling, opacity, velocity, gives good results! You can even interact with after effects lights to put shadows on the particles...

  • How long does it take to make it

  • @Hellguy0000 It took us 3 days, me and my partner Pascal
