how did u get the unit powered up? it runs on 10v and obveously the cars 12v, i was thinking about doing this,cheers

A reply a year late sorry... the screen was separate. I got it on ebay used for $50. It is a Panasonic 6.5" Widscreen LCD. I made a custom mount for the windshield by screwing an old GPS suction cup mount to the back of the screen.

lol. I agree, although they are entertaining to see live.... back when I was in college and attending frat parties. It was just a random sampling of music I threw on my iPod for this video.

Do you know how this could be done with a retractable touch screen head unit? I would want to be able to do everything you do, but how would I connect it, and be able to use the touch screen.

If your head unit has a video input, which I imagine it might you would just plug into that. However, you would not be able to use the touchscreen functionality. There's no way to do that.
