  • I have a 2001 ford ranger and just did this but didn't do the connector.. which connector did you use.. there are a ton on that site .

When I search for ford ranger nothing pops up.

    Thanks,

    -Nigel

  • Make sure you get a NEW CONNECTOR/PIGTAIL AND RESISTOR!!!! THE CONNECTOR WILL BE FUSED AND MELTED TOGETHER. THIS IS A FORD DESIGN FLAW. Thanks for the help. A few tips for others. First of all the Mazda B-series is the same. Remove the two screws first with connector attached. Then cut wire half inch back from old connector and resistor. A faster and more dependable wire connection I used # 14 Marrette wire connectors, heat shrink tubing, nylon cable ties, silcon on each pair of wires.

  • bullshit! i got a 99, i had to screw the freakin thing out and it still wont come off. how the fuck do you make it looks so easy?
