Click the above link to find the blower resistor for your vehicle. In this video you'll learn to repair and replace the blower resistor as well as the pigtail connection.
Make sure you get a NEW CONNECTOR/PIGTAIL AND RESISTOR!!!! THE CONNECTOR WILL BE FUSED AND MELTED TOGETHER. THIS IS A FORD DESIGN FLAW. Thanks for the help. A few tips for others. First of all the Mazda B-series is the same. Remove the two screws first with connector attached. Then cut wire half inch back from old connector and resistor. A faster and more dependable wire connection I used # 14 Marrette wire connectors, heat shrink tubing, nylon cable ties, silcon on each pair of wires.
I have a 2001 ford ranger and just did this but didn't do the connector.. which connector did you use.. there are a ton on that site .
When I search for ford ranger nothing pops up.
Thanks,
-Nigel
