annotations were ok, added another dimension to the lp, both humour and info wise, but changed the over all fell of it too - I think the best aspect was that they were added after the commentary and made light of it etc

The original story was in the manual who the mermaid was; it explains that she was found on the beach sun bathing and that Mikey and her became friends, then Ma' and her two idiot sons found out about it shortly after breaking out of jail and kidnapped Chunk first and then the other 'Goonies'. It was actually suppose to be a tie into a sequel movie that never got the go-ahead.

I loved this Game even if you needed ro Rescue Annie the Mermaid, a Character who they just came up with - it was Goonies afterall and that was what made it great.
Hitting the Old Lady - never gets old. XD

apparently Goonies was popular enough in Japan not only to get a Famicom exclusive movie game, but that was so popular that IT warrented a sequel. Ohhhh Konami, you so crazy.
