No...Algae are not plants because plants are multicellular and have tissue differentiation, even some are multicellular , like the red algea... still they are not plants

@CASERIOMUSIC Yeah, there are different systems of classification. This one was proposed in 1969, so it's relatively old compared to the two 6 kingdom classifications. Regardless, it's what we learned. I'm not sure that this will be very useful if you're using a different system.
