Sonic Unleashed - Wii - Mazuri - 2nd Gaia Gate Puzzle

I hope you guys had some Happy Holidays, no matter what you celebrate. And even if you don't celebrate anything around this time of year, I still hope you've been doing okay. (A factoid: November 4th is now "Obama Day" in Kenya, as Barack Obama's extended family lives there. It's a national holiday there, the kind where the banks and schools are closed.)

This is something I recorded a LONG time ago, but I noticed that people seem to like videos of Sonic Unleashed's Wii version, so here's something else I dug up: the 2nd Gaia Gate puzzle for the Mazuri region. In the Wii and PlayStation 2 version, Mazuri is reduced to a hub, a boss battle, and the Gaia Gate. The Gaia Gate is where Sonic goes to play in the stages (both day and night), but they also each house 2 or 3 puzzles, which you unlock by getting certain numbers of Sun and Moon Medals.

The goal in these rooms is to use skills unique to Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Werehog to get everything in the room. Lots of goodies have been hidden in each region's Gaia Gate. If you've gotten or are getting this version of Sonic Unleashed, and you like the puzzles, be glad! The 360/PS3 version doesn't have them.

Mazuri is only the second region in the game, so this puzzle is pretty tame. Once you get to places like Shamar and Adabat, however, they get massive and intricate.

And yes, this video is merely a holdover right now. When I successfully find a job that pays, I'll get myself an Xbox 360 and make comparison videos between the two versions of Sonic Unleashed. That's the reason why I'm not showing much right now.

If you miss getting the music from the villagers right away...can you get them later? Because I've tried going back to Apotos to get the soundtracks, and they won't give it out anymore...

You'll always get another chance to get the music. Just remember, though, that you'll only get the day themes during the day and the night themes during the night.

ah man i need 1 more moon medal, THEN, i can open every last door, BUT, i need 150 or more items D: Fuk i only have 136 and i cant find any fuking item... wait, ill go and tlk to the villgers, they might have more stuff, hopefully...

The items the villagers will give you are the songs for the villages. If you've gotten them all, you can't get naything else from them.

You'll need to be patient to keep finding the hidden items. If it helps, an item guide has shown up on GameFAQs telling you where all of them are.
