  • if you keep doing that without letting your engine warm up then you are going to tear it up.

  • @rednec97 I know lol. I don't have the truck anymore, also if you notice near the end, the temp gauge was climbing, That particular truck had the world's slowest Temp gauge. The truck was Warm but I had turned it off for about 15 minutes before I filmed this because of an electrical glitch, might explain why the temp gauge was so slow, 3 weeks later the entire instrument cluster had to be replaced because it was shorting out for no reason.

  • what kind of performance chip do you have installed?

  • @dopepop Sadly, I cannot remember because I sold the truck over 3 Months ago, Just google Chevy Colorado Performance Chip, I think I got it from like performance direct or something similar, I wouldn't suggest installing one without first changing to higher performance plugs first, The chip will tear the stock plugs up, mine were preignited to death and had to be replaced 3 months after I posted the video.

  • @Inu1294 That's a Chevy for you! My dad's Silverado has electronics replaced literally every other week.

  • @Inu1294 You would be hard pressed to find a V8 that gets better mileage than these little inline motors (unless it's a diesel of course). I have a Canyon, leveled with all terrains and I average 20mpg, that's driving mostly country roads. On highway I can easily get 24mpg. Oh and I've never fell under 17mpg. My dad has a 09 Sierra with a 4.8 V8 and he rarely sees 18mpg.

  • @Inu1294 Our 4.0 Ranger got around 18 mpg, our newer 2.5 gets 28-29

  • @abram7117 typically, a small engined truck does WORSE on gas than a Large engined one, Never figured out why but I think it's because you need to use more throttle to get going compared to lets say a V8, I no longer have this truck because of the lack of my using it for it's purpose, so I bought a car, I have a 0-70 vid of it just check my videos

  • @Inu1294 WOW does that mean its a gas hog even though its a 4 banger?

  • I am actually selling the truck, I have no use for it anymore and it's costing me to much in gas to drive to school. Also it's a 4 Cylinder so it was never meant to be quick but I don't have a top speed limiter as a trade off.
