The SCCC Players present Shakespeare's All's Well That Ends Well. This is the virginity dialogue between Helen (Corey White) and Parolles (Nick Muscatiello).
We did this in original practice, hence the house lights are up. We used cue scripts from the First Folio and included interludes between acts.
Second try sound better.

Can't hear or understand a word they're saying.

Perhaps if Shakespeare was aloud to put women on stage he would have. Let's just all agree with that. Of course, there is alot of wondering if perhaps he did enjoy the men playing the women's parts...

I don't think you can say this is "original practice" since there are women on stage.

Now we know what Shakespeare must have been like back in the day. His audiences were ENTERTAINED. They went because they wanted to, not for extra credit. If Ol Will were alive today, his performances would probably look something like this. Nice going SCCC players! The Bard is smiling down (or possibly up) at you now.
