Begging For Food in California

Begging for food happens all the time in California, the hard part is to figure out if it is genuine or the party involved has other destinations for the spare change you give them. I see a lady in the Food 4 Less parking lot who appears to be approaching people for food, but upon closer inspection, she seem to be selling candy or trinkets.

I know what you mean. I saw the strangest thing (for me). Going to my local 711 I usually see a latino alcholic or druggie opening doors for people and asking them for money. Sometimes they are African-America but last night, I pulled into the lot and I saw this tall 30 something, maybe late twenties dressed casually opening the door for people and asking them for money. He was a bit spastic and blurting out hip one liners. He was friendly but I thought Wow, Whites are experiencing it too.

Omgoodness!!! Reading sone of the comments below really saddens me. You outta be ashamed at the things you are saying. These ppl are just trying to earn money. Wats the difference in a person selling girlscout cookies..or your traditional bake sale?? I mean get with reality..times are tough for a lot of ppl. Not all of us are born with a silver spoon in our mouths. At least she is trying..unlike other ppl who go out and rob,steal or sit back and collect unemployment or welfare.geez get a heart!!
