The Home Lines

The song "The Home Lines", was written and performed by the local Oregon band, Almost Friday--a band comprised of members of the Oregon Army National Guard.

The song was written for, and dedicated to all military spouses. The music video illustrates the story of the fight and daily struggles which military spouses endure while their loved ones are away from home.

As the song claims, military spouses are "the true American Hero on the Home Lines."

I tried to hold it together but this video really moved me. My husband is currently deployed and the scene where she walks into the empty house really struck a chord with me. Thank you so much for this song/video.

Oh my I cry every time I watch this it is soooooo sad :( I remember when I was really younger and my uncle would leave and I would go to the airport and when he left I would cry :( I am thinking of being in the Army when I am 20 right now I have my application in for the fire Department but that will be good!!!!!
