This video is an answer to a challenge made by John Dehlin. His challenge was to make liberal or progressive changes to the LDS church that would maintain the activity rate of the membership and the monitary donations made to the church.

Sorry about my voice. I had a cold when I recorded the audio. However, given my long delay between videos, I just wanted to get it out.

  • What movie is it that you keep showing clips of. There's a scene of a boy in the bishop's office and there's of scene of two newly weds in a car and a scene of two missionaries at someone's door.

  • @beproudtobebipolar It is from the HBO series Big Love. It is well worth checking out from Netflix or something.

  • I agree with some of what you say in terms of liberalising the church and making it more inclusive and transparent, however I think some of your latter recommendations would simply reduce the church to Protestantism.

  • @JohnRhysMusician Perhaps. But I don't think that would be a bad direction to move.

  • You have put out some great new videos!!! How can we get youtube to allow people to have more than 200 favorites, say 1000 maybe or 5000 like FB..:) I like to have a place to store all my favs for quick and easy access...

  • @MaryMarchNewell Thanks, I appreciate it.

  • I think alot of these people are just jealous of us so-called 'apostates'. We don't have to go to church for 3 hours on sunday, 2 or 3 hours on wed., early morning seminary, pay 10% of our hard earned money, spend countless hours meetings, we can watch TV when we want, drink whatever we want, do whatever we want, and countless other examples. They tell themselves that we are angry or offended when we aren't. They just can't get up the courage to challenge their ridiculous beliefs like we have.

  • If by their fruits ye shall know them. Church invests in malls & hotels. Ergo, Elohim was a CEO.

  • How about declare evolution and old earth (5 Billions years) facts.

  • In 1850, the LDS Mormon Church went to Hawaii and converted 4,000 Hawaiians. Many of these Hawaiians wanted to come back to Utah, to the new Zion. 30 years later with the "white and delightsome" skin doctrine and the "cursed dark" skin scriptures, from the BOM, the Mormons finally kicked them out Salt Lake City in 1881. These Hawaiians lived 65 miles west of SLC, in the middle of the inhospitable Utah West Desert, known as Iosepa(named for Joseph, Joseph Smith).

  • @IExposeMormonism I will make YouTube videos which should be out in about 4 months. The video about Hinckley having homosex with men and teen aged boys is false. That was Hinckley's son, not Gordon B. Hinckley, apostle at the time. But Gordon B. covered it all up. His son should have been excommunicated, but he was not. No son of a General Authority is ever exed, no matter what he does. His son was a G.A. for about five years. Not on "emertus" status.

  • @DarrickEvenson Make some YouTUbe videos. And what of the allegations of homosexual conduct with children and adults?

  • "Mormon Portraits", 1886, D Wyl, P139, "The Mormon god is a business god". quoting G.C. Cannon. And "High above the swarm of fortune seekers, Joe holds the prophetic rod and his friends hope devoutly it will 'work to the money' and make them rise, those chests of money, discerned with such acumen by Mr Joe Smith...we want to make $ and we don't care how...they get their endowments and swear Danite oaths ..."buy at our stores and build up the kingdom that is all we want"...."

  • @PaidLaidAled In his former life as a man, right? lol

  • I AM a former Mormon, a returned missionary, and wrote a book defending the Church which sold in LDS bookstores for 10 years ("The Gainsayers"). Gordon B. Hinckley was a ____LIAR____ who lied all the time and I can document that! HE lied all the time. Email me and I'll send you many examples: darrick_evenson AT yahoo DOT com
