In this 2 part gear video Mike Williams from www.ShredGuitarAcademy.com shows his all time #1 guitar. The mighty Satanicaster. His main and most played axe since the mid '90s. He discusses the history of this mightiest of weapons including the various modifications done to it in order to maximize playability and be capable of everything from the most dulcet of clean tones to the grimmest most face ripping metal growls. A great video for anyone interested in learning more about strat style electric guitar mods and customizing. Part 1 of 2

  • Hey whats that awesome guitar bit at the end?

  • @grumpybritishguy All bumper music at the end of videos is from demos for the solo album I am working on. \m/

  • @flashpadxxx Absolutely. The only advantage I believe in starting young is the amount of time most kids have on their hands. A lot of my adult students understand advanced concepts easier, seem to learn quicker than kids etc. I think the idea that you have to start at age 5 is ridiculous. I started guitar at 15. Drums at 21. And piano at 30. I can sort of pull off a few professionally graded classical piano pieces but the biggest challenge as an adult is trying to find time to practice. \m/

  • @XIIdmb53IIX Nope. I just like guitars. I do need at least three for playing live though. I always seem to break a minimum of one string per show and have been known to finish off a set on my third guitar because I've gone through two. You really don't want to have to stop a show to replace a string. \m/

  • @ShredGuitarAcademy Not quite. At a base level, YOUNG (we're talking 4-7) children learn about 10-12 times faster then adults. Now this doesn't mean every kid can just pick up a guitar and play. The problem with children is you are fighting short attention spans, and other things (lack of focus).

Think of it like this. How long does a baby with no language take to become FLUENT? Try learning chinese at 30 :p
