@Berniebays Good answer. Your thirst for knowledge will serve you well. About meditation, you do not meditate to become good at meditation. You meditate so that you are more aware of your surroundings and emotions in life when you are not meditating. It's not about getting lost, it's about trying to be there in each moment. Maximizing the moments when you are aware, and minimize the ones were you are lost in thought for too long. You might find being more aware useful on you journey.
