AmericaJR.com's Garrett Godwin was there when U.S. Secretary of Housing & Urban Development Shaun Donovan spoke to the Detroit Economic Club. It took place on Monday afternoon inside the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel in downtown Detroit. Mayor Dave Bing served as the presiding officer. Donovan said he is confident that the Motor City can make a comeback. He highlighted the Detroit Works Project and Woodward Light Rail project. About a dozen federal officials will move into the city as part of a community solutions team to manage federal dollars directed to Detroit.
