This video talks about seam-lines and probably the easiest way to remove them, by using modeling cement. Just be sure to wash your hands afterwards. As with anything in modeling there are always alternatives and techniques people prefer over others. If you've got a different technique for removing seam lines and want to share it with the Gunpla community why not submit it to Hobbylink.tv?

Gundam models shown in this video :

- 1/100 MG RGZ-95 ReZEL
- Finishing Abrasives P400 (3pcs)

  • so if you were using spray cans would you have to first glue all the pieces together and then spray?

  • @Bomby77 It really is up to you how you wish to do it, you could glue parts like the gun together then spray it or spray them all first then stick them together.

  • If you guys have any questions i suggest heading over to our site hobbylink.tv and submitting your questions within the video post, that way Syd can answer your questions quickly and directly!

  • what song do they use at the beginning?

  • can you do a tutorial for the hg gundam starter kit

  • Maybe it is better to name the video the technique you are you using or what you are about to teach instead of naming it from a gundam kit.

  • i tried using mr hobby plastic cement and it actually eats the plastic, the plastic cement actually melts the plastic together

  • And I thought I was going wrong the whole time! Some other people use a knife to scrape off the residue; is sanding better, would you say? Also, how do you deal with small gaps where sandpaper can't reach? I'm having that issue with my Unicorn rifle. Thanks!

  • I would use putty but thats just me.
