SNK's Neo Geo Pocket Color or NGPC was released in 1999 shortly after the GameBoy Color. It is SNK's second Handheld model built to replace the original monochrome model. Keeping in mind this is still several years before the GBA this system was well built and despite being more powerful than the GBC it launched with the same MSRP.

  • your vids are nice man, always well thought out. I appreciate that.

  • Thanks! I love doing them too!

  • Nice, I picked up one of these a month ago. It is one of my favorite handhelds. I just need more games for it. And I have to mention the screen is VERY GOOD for not being backlit. Highly reccomended for fans of snk or just any gamer atracted to it's appeal.

  • it is a good screen considering its not backlit. The system overall is really well built.

  • I actually like playing the black and white model as well. I take it to work and play on my breaks :)

  • I have one, pretty much mint, in the same blue colour as you, with original box, manuals and a game with the HMV sticker still on it, it's one of my most prised consoles in my collection :)

  • @ScratchMasterWebbe thats good, if you dont have sonic pocket then GET IT!!! cool game

  • I just bought one for $70 on ebay with 6 games, is this a good price? The games were pac-man, Samurai showdown 2, king of fighters r2, fatal fury contact, neo turf masters and metal slug 1st mission.

  • I'm getting one for christmas! Thanks for the video man! Im gonna start doing videos like this soon as well :)

  • i have two of its games but not the player. i plan on getting one soon.

my gandma was cleaning her closet and had sonic pocket adventurers, some other game, tekken 4, and dbz gokus legacy.

  • I love it!!!

  • @yoshinosakura I think he said it was $69.95, not $65.95. Still, that is really cheap.

A couple things I should include-- only 85 games were released for this system (way too small!), which managed to sell about two million units.

  • @SuperSkullz Nope. It is a 16-bit handheld, as is the Wonderswan Color.

  • i though this was 8-bit same with intellivision
