  • @ShonenMike i apologized for being blunt.

Fuck the original color, if you liked it that much you wouldn't change them in the first place would you.

  • @aidan21 Seriously, why get narky at me? I still stand by what I said. Painting wheels is fine but what if I want my original colour back? (for resale or whatever). By protection I meant from stone chips, etc. I wasn't clear.

  • @ShonenMike Sorry for the blunt rudeness.

  • @ShonenMike mike you should be in first class, your excellent.

    Heres a bonus medal --(o)--

    Clear coat protects the color.

    Has your car faded?

Or does it take many years?

    Dick head.

  • i would punch my parents if they wrapped my presents like that

  • @aidan21

Good points, but one downside to painting is you lose your original colour. Plastidip isn't durable, true, but it has a nice finish and preserves your original colour well (actually protects it)

    It's paper mache btw ;)

  • @ShonenMike you can do that with paint, less hassel as you dont need to peel the shit off your wheels.

Just a quick wet sand and then your ready to re prime, paint and clear coat.

A can per a wheel, 2 cans of clear and 2 primer....

    Your don, easy....

Itl last for years, not 8 months.

You could literally have paper mashay on your wheels for about 8 months.. little too rat rod for my liking though.

  • @FAMOUSTHUGQC home depot

  • I think i have a grenade for you:))))

  • @aidan21 8 months is great for a couple of $20 cans of the stuff. I like the idea of non-permanent rim colour. I can change it whenever I want.
