THIJS VAN LEER & FOCUS, 'HOUSE OF THE KING/ TAMARA'S MOVE' 2008

A hot take of the Focus rock classic 'House of the King', followed by the more recent 'Tamara's Move' (Focus 8 album).

Thijs van Leer is in top form playing, what is one of the greatest rock pieces performed on flute. And check out Niels van der Steenhoven's truly superb solo in 'Tamara's Move'. Niels has surely one of the best guitar tones out there. Well worth your while turning the volume up, and listening to these two tunes right through.

The band played to a delighted audience at 'De Steenoven' in Herzele, Belgium, Saturday, November 15th, 2008, a nice, friendly venue.
