Hey everyone!

How's everything? Anyway, all has been well here in the UK - lots of photoshooting and studio. Also, this is the debut of my new cherry sunburst guitar, Elisa (sister of Emmy Lou), a Gibson L-200! @Thetastygrrl these ppl can sing alrite. It's just that when the song goes 'and i'm free' ...i like it to be a little jittery, uncertain and not perfectly-formed. Isn't that the beauty of being Free?? No pressure for perfection? So, when u say 'mediocre' ...i'm hoping u mean 'simple'.

Although I am a big Tom Petty fan, I completely disagree.

Firstly, because Tom Petty can't sing - and hey, i like a lot of artists that can't sing, there are many redeeming qualities.

But these people CAN sing, and have a good arrangement of what is really an incredibly mediocre ditty.

Despite the pretty face and great backing vocals ...the TPetty version is so much better. Simplicity was always going to be key when you consider the lyrics ...free fallin' (and little scope for bells and whistles) !!
