if the cops did kill her, it would be easy to fabricate a story. there was no video in the holding area, so it would be a case of he said she said, except she cant say anything because she's dead.

Depending on the autopsy the cops made two mistake. They did not talk to her to find out what her problem was. Second was they did not watch her. She had a mental brake down.

It's called delerium tremens, DTs. Remember where she was headed. Ask any lawyer. Eyewitness accounts are unreliable. No two people see the same thing. Police response was "...excessive"? Miss Gotbaums's behavior was what then? Perfectly normal?

Oh yea, and don't forget the fact that her blood alcohol was three times the legal limit, and she had overdosed on anti-depressants, and anti histamines... OH YEA, and the independant pathologist and the local medical examiner determined that it was an accidental death due to the alchol/drug combination.

I am sure the police made her drink and take the drugs too though... right?? You people are the reason there are so many problems... so quick to judge and blame!

Did you all listen to what was said on this video??? The woman giving her account does not match the video of what happened.  The first officer went to grab the woman's arm, and she pulled away, so he took 2 steps and grabbed her, and then the three officers put her to the ground in slow motion...

Is everyone here that dumb that you didn't even watch the video of the arrest first?? Everyone wants to blame the cops... forget about the crazy woman flipping out in the airport!!

I don't know the whole story beyond this video but what I take from this is the fact that anybody screaming in an airport and saying things like I'm not a terrorist attracts loads of negative attention. I don't have much to say about the "tackle takedown" because if she is seen as a threat you stop that threat by any means. And to me it seems the female caller had her story jumbled. Just my opinion.
